First requriements:you should have web site or weblogs, which are called blogs or adsenss blog. The best place to have blogs , free of cost is blogger.com . There are many free blog spaces, but this is a good one to start and depend on. You can create as many as you want. start with one or two. Have adsens account with google. You can click the banner in this website to join the free google adsense account. But after that, you create a channel to get your adsense ads and paste the ads in your blog.
These adsenes are preferably placed in the template, so that these appear in every page of the blog. There are hot spots to place the ad. keep on the top begining of the blog and right or left side of the blog as a column. Prefer 160 X 60 ads for coumn and 780 long for row. Have a credit card for transactions with the google adsense. It is also advisable to have membership with some affiliate programs.

I have membership with two prominent affilate programs ie cj.com and linkshare.com cj means commission junction. I mainly use only this commission junction affiliate programs. I embedded these affiliate links in many of my sites, there were clicks also. But income is very low. In my experience, i found that ordinary weblog visitors will rarely buy anything from affiliate links. Only pay per click campaign which brings targetted visitors to your site may generate money. There is a difference between the adsense and affiliate links. visitors love to click adsense ads , for fun or out of curiousity and that generates money to us. The visitor will not loose any money by clicking the adsens.
But in the case of affiliate programs, simple click will not fetch you any money , but only a real sale brings you your commission which would be any where from 2% to 40% of the sale amount.
